Who was Saint Arnold Janssen and why is the parish named after him?

Saint Arnold Janssen was a German priest and missionary who founded the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) in 1875, along with two sister congregations. He dedicated his life to evangelization and education, especially in mission territories. Naming the parish after him honors his commitment to faith, service, and spreading the Gospel. The parish seeks to carry on his legacy by fostering a welcoming, mission-oriented community rooted in prayer, action, and unity.
