About us
(MYM) is a Catholic group for young people aged 15 to 17 years who are inspired to live out their faith actively through prayer, service, and joyful expression. As part of the Church’s missionary efforts, MYM helps teenagers grow spiritually, build leadership skills, and become young ambassadors of Christ in their communities.

Missionary Formation
MYM focuses on forming young people to become missionaries in their own lives. Members grow spiritually through regular prayer, Bible study, and catechism sessions, which help deepen their understanding of the Church’s mission and their role in it.
Liturgical and Cultural Dance
A lively and expressive part of MYM is dance, used both in liturgical celebrations and cultural events. Through choreographed performances at Masses, feast days, and mission events, members celebrate faith with joy and creativity while also promoting active participation in worship.

Fellowship and Leadership
The movement fosters strong bonds among youth through youth camps, leadership training, and spiritual retreats. These events help them develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills, preparing them to take active roles in both Church and society.
Service and Outreach
MYM engages youth in community service such as visiting the sick, helping the needy, environmental clean-ups, and assisting during parish events. These acts of charity help members develop a heart for mission and social responsibility rooted in the teachings of Christ.

How to Join MYM
Joining MYM is simple and open to all baptized Catholic youth aged 15 to 17. Interested teens can inquire through their parish office, youth coordinator, or catechist. Parental consent is often required for full membership and participation in off-site events.
Practice Day and Routine
MYM members usually meet for weekly practice sessions, often on Saturdays or Sundays, depending on the parish schedule. These sessions include prayer, dance practice, planning, and fellowship, helping members stay engaged and spiritually active.

Parish Involvement and Support
MYM works closely with parish priests, youth chaplains, and catechists, ensuring spiritual guidance and support. The parish community is encouraged to attend events and celebrate the energy and faith that MYM members bring to Church life.
Join us
One of the vibrant aspects of MYM is liturgical and cultural dance, which allows members to express their faith, joy, and unity through movement. These dances are often performed during Masses, missionary events, youth rallies, and Church celebrations.
